Ziebart of Irmo is owned and operated by local native Bob Morris. While he's always considered himself a car enthusiast, Morris enjoyed a successful career working in both sales and management in the pharmaceutical industry. Still, Morris always felt a true passion for running a business involved in automotive services. After discovering Ziebart in 2019, Morris was attracted to all things about the brand, from the products and services to the spirit of innovation, franchisee support and leadership at the corporate office. From there, he was determined to transform his former side-hobby into building the dream of his first franchise business. The Irmo native will operate the business with his son, Cooper, who runs the back as the shop manager while Morris runs the sales and spearheads the store's strategy and vision.
"Whenever we ask people how long they plan on keeping their vehicle – they often say as long as possible. And we're excited that our products and services will help keep it looking like new longer, inside and out," Morris said. "When we were looking to open our own automotive franchise, we wanted to be affiliated with a brand we feel good about. Ziebart is known for supporting its customers' pride in vehicle ownership with the highest-quality products, services and exceptional workmanship. We are proud to bring Ziebart to the Irmo community."
