STEP 1

Request Information

The first step in becoming a Ziebart owner is to get in touch with our Franchise Development Team by filling out the simple online form here. A member of our team will reach out to you within 24-48 hours (business days) to provide you with more information, next steps, and answer any initial questions you have.

STEP 2

Fill Out an Application Form

Once you’ve spoken with your franchise development team member, you will be asked to fill out an online profile to help us learn more about you. This provides us the opportunity to see if you will be a good fit in our franchise community. The questionnaire is detailed and asks for personal information. Your privacy is very important to us and your information will never be shared outside of Ziebart Franchising Corporation.

At this point in the process, you will also be given a personal Franchise Development Coach to help you through the process and answer any questions you have along the way.

STEP 3

Receive FDD & Due Diligence

Once your profile has been submitted and accepted, your Franchise Development Coach will then provide you with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) as part of the due diligence process. You or you and your attorney will review the document and then meet with your coach to answer any questions you have regarding any information in the FDD.

Throughout the next few calls, your coach will discuss all the different aspects of Ziebart ownership from start-up to training, daily operations, and beyond. They will guide you through what you need to know and also be there to answer anything and everything you want during the process.

STEP 4

Financing

Following the FDD disclosure process, your coach will walk you through the ins and outs of the Ziebart financing. Depending on your financial situation there are many different routes you can take to cover the initial costs of opening your Ziebart Franchise. These include SBA loans, Ziebart in-house financing, and more!

STEP 5

Discovery Day

Once your informational calls have wrapped and if we both mutually agree to continue moving forward, you will be invited to a Ziebart Discovery Day. This Discovery Day involves visiting our corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan to spend the day discussing your opportunities and touring the company owned and franchise owned locations. You’ll get to meet some of our key leaders and witness all the operational aspects of your new business firsthand.

Once the Discovery Day is complete, Ziebart can approve your request to buy a franchise as quickly as 24 hours after your visit.

It’s key to remember that buying a franchise is not just a purchase but a partnership. We, at Ziebart, want to ensure that you are a good fit for our community just as you want to ensure Ziebart is a good fit for yours!

POST-SALE

From start to finish, it will take approximately 6 months to open a Ziebart franchise. Once you have signed the FDD, you and your support coach will then start your opening process which involves:

  • Finding a location and securing a lease
  • Acquiring financing
  • Purchasing and setting up equipment
  • Completing the training program
