For the past week, we have found ourselves daydreaming about the meal that will be served tomorrow on Thanksgiving. In preparation for this meal, we bring out our best stretchy pants and rehearse conversation starters for when we are reunited with our family and friends. The process of cooking a meal and cleaning the house for guests plays a large role in this holiday and can be hectic; but there is something quite beautiful about it.
Each family holds its own traditions and values, meaning that no Thanksgiving celebration is the same. Some families may have a Thanksgiving brunch over a Thanksgiving dinner, or they may do an activity showing what they are thankful for as opposed to each person stating it at the dinner table. Whatever those traditions may be for your family, it is refreshing to know that you are a part of something unique and special.
