After the site has been approved, a Ziebart representative will create a basic drawing of the proposed business center, with a layout that maximizes production space while presenting a clean and inviting showroom environment. Sales, Marketing and Technical Training As your store is being developed, you will be scheduled for an in-depth training program to educate you in every facet of operating your Ziebart business. Your classes will include technical skills, sales, advertising, business management and an in-store experience at one of Ziebart's company-owned locations. Based on our 50 years of business operations, Ziebart has produced a Strategic Business Development Plan, designed to guide the new franchisee from the initial consideration of a business through the first year of operation. The plan documents in chronological order all the details relating to market choice, site selection and setup that go into launching a business successfully. Grand Opening Support When you are ready to open your doors to the public, our advertising staff will help you plan the grand opening of your new business center. Ziebart provides grand opening banners, sample advertisements and direct mail pieces; and a Ziebart sales representative will also attend your grand opening. Ongoing Support You can call on Ziebart for experienced assistance at any time. With a Ziebart franchise, you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Ziebart's point-of-sale software program helps you run the day-to-day operations of your business while building a vital database of your customers and their purchase history. Whether you need assistance in sales, operations or technical support, Ziebart has staff in place to help you in your efforts. Regional Marketing Meetings As a Ziebart franchisee, you become part of the automotive aftermarket industry, so it is important to stay informed of the trends and methodologies that are influencing both your company and the broader industry. Ziebart's regional marketing meetings keep you up-to-date on new sales, marketing and management techniques. These local meetings are held in or near your store on a regular basis. You'll receive information there on promotional programs, sales training and product introductions. These meetings are also the source of a valuable exchange of information and expertise among you and your fellow dealers. International Dealer Conferences Each year the Ziebart International corporate office hosts either a regional or an international dealer conference. This is an important working convention that provides Ziebart franchisees with new-product information, along with updated sales and marketing programs. Quarterly Publications Ziebart publishes a quarterly newsletter called “The Wire” that provides advice, sales techniques, new product development and specific technical information for the employees in your store, and presents you, the owner, with marketing and operational information to help you manage and promote your store more effectively.
